Hello there!
My name is Cedric, and I’ve been an English teacher for over 11 years. I have taught elementary, high school, and university level students (high school was my favorite).
I have taught English as a Second Language overseas (in South Korea and Thailand) and I currently teach ESL online to adults.
Being a teacher is a very rewarding experience. There have been good and bad times of course, but overall it’s been quite positive. I’ve learned a lot about people in general, and teaching is one of the few jobs where you can actually have fun while you’re working.
Having said that, I don’t agree with the direction education has been going nowadays. More and more I have this feeling that we are leaving our young people behind and letting them down.
I’m here at One-Room Education to talk about that. I hope you’ll join me and I look forward to hearing your opinions!
